It’s fair to say we are living in the generation of the selfie.

Earlier this week we saw maybe the best Irish wedding selfie ever in Donegal.

Father Pat took a selfie of newlyweds Sinéad and Christopher O’Donnell in the church, which managed to capture everyone in attendance.

The woman, named Francia Fierros Palomino on Facebook, snapped herself in the church where the funeral of her grandfather took place, in the city of Guadalajara, in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, and posing with makeup and black dress. She received several critics for her sensual pose and was nicknamed by netizens as LadyFuneral. She posted online the selfie in the church with the message "Rest in Peace, granddad, and with the symbol of a coffin and a grandfather. After the funeral, she also posted online a picture of herself with black trousers and shirt and posing in front of a mirror, with the message "coming back from funeral, Rest in Peace granddad". According to local media, the woman usually posts this kind of selfies in her Facebook account, showing herself in sensual poses and with different kind of clothes. Katerin Tellez wrote: "If she was my daughter and was my father funeral I would have taken her away from there. What a lack of respect." And Maggie Muzher said: "better to be dead than watching the stupidity of his granddaughter." And Luis Ramirez Palacios also criticized her makeup, saying: "She is the person who looks like the dead with all that makeup on her face." (ends)
