This is Happening in Brown Thomas and We’re Not Okay With It

You know the way they say Christmas gets earlier every year? This just might be the definitive proof. While we’ve been busy scoffing at the Americans and the Brits for their stampede towards twinkling lights and gingerbread houses, it seems we have a culprit much closer to home. The Christmas Market at Brown Thomas Dublin, Cork and Limerick is set to officially open this Thursday 20^th August. According to the luxury retailers: “A dedicated space in each store will be transformed into a festive Christmas market – filled with Christmas trees and trim, beautiful decorations, crackers and festive food. The themes for this year’s Christmas Market at Brown Thomas include, ‘Ice Palace’, ‘Venetian Winter’. ‘I Love Candy’ and ‘Santa’s Journey’.” Though we’re ALL about this festive season once early December (or even late November) rolls around, this is too much too soon. We’d like at least ONE week of summer that feels like summer first…
