Now we don’t know about you, but we’re inclined to think that this is some of the most exciting news ever. Tiny Fey has said that she would love to develop a Mean Girls musical!

Speaking to E! at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night, Tiny said that there wasa strong chance Mean Girls would take to the stage in the near future.

When she was asked about the possibility of the musical, she said: “Maybe! We want to. I would love to.”

“I’m trying to develop it with my husband who does all the music for 30 Rock and I think Paramount’s onboard,” she added.

Tina reportedly already has one musician in mind when it comes to casting the iconic parts: Mariah Carey (we kid you not).

The ultimate Mean Girl? Mariah is being lined up for a part in the musical version of the hit comedy.

“I loved it! And I think Mariah won. Like, Mariah seemed to really know all the characters. Maybe she can play Amy Poehler’s part in the musical...” said Tina.
