Looks like Beyonce was right – girls could very well be running the world soon.
The Global Startup Ecosystem Ranking, a report that measures and examines the startup sector, recently reported that “the trend for female entrepreneurs is significantly up”, with the number of female-started businesses increasing by 80 per cent.
The good folk at Expert Market have kindly examined the report and created an infographic listing the top twenty cities in the world for startups founded by women.
Chicago came out on top, with thirty per cent of its startups founded by women, followed closely by Boston with a solid 29 per cent.
