We CAN’T wait.
It has been announced this week that two new seasons of hit podcast Serial are now in production.
According to reports, Season Two of the series will launch this autumn.
It is expected that Season Three will be released in spring 2016 according to The A.V. Club.
Season One of the podcast, which is hosted and co-created by Sarah Koenig, followed the investigation of an unsolved murder in 1999 and gained a cult following among fans on its release in 2014.
We haven’t been given any sneak peeks of what lies ahead, but co-creators Koenig and Julie Synder stated: “They’re very different from Season One, but no less interesting to us.”
