The report, drafted up by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and the NHS found that just 30 minutes of exercise five times a week could greatly reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
The report outlined that by simply increasing exercise in their daily lives, people could experience serious cuts to their risk of contracting heart disease with 40%, as well as a drop in stroke and dementia by 30% and breast cancer by 25%.
Bowel cancer rates could even be cut by nearly half according to the report.
And the best way to introduce that exercise?
Well the report suggests that a strict exercise or diet plan are likely to be dropped quickly. So the most effective way to get in those extra sweats?
