Meet Herman Goldman. Herman turned 101 at the weekend but absolutely point blank refuses to retire from his job in Capitol Lighting in East Hanover, a job that he has worked in since 1941.
'It gives me a reason to get up in the morning and go,' Goldman told News 12 New Jersey.
Goldman has been working in the same job for 73 years except for a brief hiatus while he served in the army for World War II. He worked on the shop floor for many years but is now happier in the workshop fixing light fixtures.
According to the 12 New Jersey, Mr. Goldman still drives to work every day in his Ford Contour.
