I'm sure every thief has thought of the perfect escape plan if they hear the sound of police sirens approaching. Drop everything and run would usually be the chosen thing to do, but not for this guy.
Steven Beeton, from Swindon, came up with a very unique method to try and slip away from the grasps of the police.
According to the Swindon Advertiser, after he threatened his girlfriend and stole money from her she fled their house to alert the police.
When the police pulled up to arrest him they found him in the house, covered in coconut oil.
His plan was to literally slip passed the police and avoid arrest.
Unlucky for Steven, it didn't quite turn out the way he had hoped.
