The world turns green for a day on March 17th every year. Green food, green buildings and even green rivers... the obsession with the Irish knows no bounds.
And that extends far further than we thought... even as far as the bedroom.
That's right, leading adult film site Pornhub has revealed that searches for Leprechaun porn increased by almost 10,000% on St. Patrick's Day last year.
Seriously.
The number of people searching for St. Patrick’s Day themed adult films increased by nearly 6000% and searches for the word ‘Irish’ increased by 600p%.
And its not just those abroad, traffic from Ireland increased by 5% on the site on St. Patrick's Day last year compared to an average day.
And here was us thinking St. Patrick got rid of all the schnakes, heh?
