This weather presenter was told she had to cover up as her dress was ‘too revealing’

Ah here

Ellen Tannam

Liberté Chan is a weather presenter with Los Angeles television network KTLA.

She’s famous for her glamorous outfits she wears during the weather forecast, but one recent broadcast saw her being totally mortified on air.

The journalist was wearing a black sequined dress with spaghetti straps when she was interrupted mid-sentence to be told that the network ‘were getting a lot of emails’ about her dress saying that it wasn’t appropriate to be worn on-air.

She was told to wear a cardigan and did for the rest of the broadcast, and the poor woman seemed mortified.

Later on, Chan and her co-workers then uploaded a video to Facebook showing the sheer volume of emails complaining about her appearance came into the station’s inbox.

We honestly can’t see the problem here.

People need to chill.
