Tinder’s most right-swiped man of 2017 is an actual model, so that’s cool

He's shared his advice for Tinder success.

Some people are just blessed with a strong Tinder game and Stefan-Pierre Tomlin is one of those people.

The Londoner, 27, has just been revealed as the man with the most right swipes on the app in 2017.

He’s an actual model, though, so maybe we shouldn’t be too surprised.

He admitted to getting around 20 matches a day on the site but sadly, he’s now off the market.

Having been single for two years, Stefan met Gemma Fowler on the app on Valentine’s Day last year and the pair have been been going strong since.

He didn’t come away from his time on the app without learning some solid lessons and now calls himself a ‘dating expert’.

He reckons humour is the key to a good Tinder bio.

“Try to be funny or intriguing so it invites people to open a conversation,” he told Independent.co.uk.

“Women love funny guys, so inject some humour and it will definitely boost your profile.”

Obviously, humans are visual creatures so your photos are fairly important too.

Having food in your mouth or using a group photo in the first three images are big turn-offs for swipers, says Stefan.

“Don’t be afraid to add ones with pets, some people think they’re cute!

“Try to make every picture a different scenario, so not all clubbing or holidays – change it up. Include some where you look smart and others where you look more casual.”

Above all, he says, try to be unique to make yourself stand out from the crowd.

Once you get chatting to someone, don’t hesitate to make plans, he adds.

“If the conversation is moving forward, try to arrange to meet as quickly as you can, otherwise the butterfly buzz feeling may dissolve.

“A couple of days should give you enough time to work out if this is someone you see potential with, but a week is too long.”

Here’s hoping that these tips mean you don’t have to be a model to bag a date off Tinder.
