So it can be really frustrating when you stumble across someone on Tinder who isn’t your cup of tea, but who you know is right up your friend’s street.
Do you match him so you don’t lose him forever in the ether of cyberspace? Or swipe left and hope against hope she finds him herself.
The “matchmaking” update was announced last month, but now that we know the details, we are convinced it is genius.
Now, with the addition of a “share” button, you can actually send a profile directly to your friend for them to swipe left or right themselves.
According to Business Insider, the button is already active in New York City, and integrates with a number of different apps including iMessage, Slack and LinkedIn.
We’re not so sure how sending date suggestions to LinkedIn contacts would go down, but hey, we’re not here to judge.
