A toddler in London has been hospitalised after he was bitten by a fox.
The young boy was asleep in bed at the time of the incident, which occurred at 2am on Thursday.
The two-year-old, from New Addington in south London, suffered the shocking attack after a fox snuck into his home via a broken cat flap.
His parents, who were still awake, rushed to the boys room when they heard him screaming, only to find the fox sitting at the end of the child's bed.
According to ITV, the parents have asked not to be named. Their child was taken to Croydon University Hospital where he received treatment for "puncture wounds" on his heel.
