On Friday, 7^th, Saturday, 8^th, Friday, 14^th, Saturday, 15^th, Friday, 21^st and Saturday, 22^nd of December you can enjoy a special 'Carols by Candlelights' service, where you get to enjoy a festive five course dinner in the Earl of Thomond dining room while experiencing a live performance of traditional festive carols performed by Trilogy, featuring Kate Purcell, by candlelight. (€85 per person). Or how about treating your mum to an afternoon tea fit for queens, complete with crackling open fires, luxurious surrounds, deep sofas, twinkling lights and countless thoughtful touches. The fine three-tiered selection with a festive twist includes mulled wine, a variety of delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones with home-made jams and clotted cream, festive pastries, warm mince pies, chocolate roulade and delicious seasonal treats. There is also a wide selection of teas and coffees to choose from, including Dromoland’s own blend tea. Festive Afternoon Tea at Dromoland Castle is available from 1^st December until 2^nd January, subject to availability, for €47.50 per person.
