Are you in the process of booking an incredible, once in a life time kind of holiday? You're probably thinking about the likes of Bali, South Africa or California - but I have a suggestion. What about staying among the sloths in a gorgeous wooden villa in Costa Rica? I know, it sounds amazing.

Nayara Springs and Nayara Resort are in Costa Rica, and provide luxurious accommodation of dreams to guests in the form of treehouse-like villas.

The resort is located on 15 acres of land in the Central American country, where sloths are extremely common. In fact, Nayara Resorts actually opened a sloth sanctuary back in 2017, to provide a home for the adorable creatures. Unreal.

At the time of the opening, there were just two sloths on site, but since planting 300 Cecropia trees on resort grounds, the population has grown to 15. Love to see it lads. And if you do wander the grounds, you may see more than just a family of sloths - the tree planting has attracted birds and frogs to the area.

So it's almost becoming somewhat of a wildlife reserve. The five-star resort consists of the 35-villa Nayara Springs and 50-bungalow Nayara Resort, Spa and Gardens with villas starting at $390 per night. Not cheap, but certainly not a rip off by any means.
