Trick Or Treat! The Cheapest Dealz In Town This Hallowe’en

We pride ourselves on our shopping skills and our ability to root out a bargain in any retail environment…

So, needless to say, we were excited when we were posed with the €25 bargain Hallowe’en challenge at Dealz discount store.

Plenty of sleep the night before, a big breakfast and a bottle of water at the ready meant we were prepared for any shopping challenge. Armed with the voucher and a trolley, we faced a shop packed with ghosts, pumpkins, witches, webs, skeletons and zombies.

A quick glance at the price tags told us the challenge wouldn’t be as tough as we’d imagined, everything in the shop is only €1.49.

And so the supermarket sweep began.

Having always wished of being one of Dane’s enthusiastic supermarket sweepers in the 90s, I began to live the glorious 15 minutes I had only ever imagined.

The clock was ticking and we were scooping up everything from ghost lights to ghoulish masks, pumpkin straws to glitter streamers.

And so the sweep begins...!

The alarm rang and I did somequick mathematics in my head. It was going to be a close one at the checkout…

A trolley packed full and a house sorted for decorations, but my Hallowe’en bargain loot only amounted to €24.17.

Our costumes for next week are ready to go, our homes have been transformed into haunted, haggard Hallowe’en cabins and our party food and drinks are guaranteed to be especially spooktastic!
