It is reported that RTÉ's two top-earning women are losing thousands of listeners as people tune in to different stations across the country.
Marian Finucane and Miriam O'Callaghan have lost thousands of listeners between them on Radio One, according to the latest JNLR (Joint National Listenership Research) figures.
Marian's Saturday show is down 5,000 listeners from January. Her Sunday show is down 14,000 listeners between this month and last January.
Other current affairs shows are on the rise as RTÉ rival Sean Moncrieff on national station Newstalk clocked up an extra 9,000 listeners to his weekday afternoon chat show.
The overall winner in the listenership ratings battle is 2fm. The station saw an extra 5,000 listeners tuning in to the likes of Colm Hayes, Mark McCabe and Dave Fanning.

Former The Den presenter Ray D'Arcy has held on to his listeners.
Ryan Tubridy's morning show experienced a small loss of 1,000 listeners, while the crowd at Today FM have kept their figures steady with both Ray D'Arcy and Ian Dempsey holding on to the same amount of loyal listeners, with 243,000 and 175,000 listeners each respectively.
