TV3 Newsreader Makes it on to Worst News Bloopers Reel

It’s rare that the news makes us laugh out loud; by its very nature it's quite the sombre affair. So when something goes wrong, it’s usually very, very funny… 

So there are some big thanks due to the folks at NewsBeFunny, who have once again compiled the best fails of the month that was into one whopper eight-minute video of fun.

Featuring a fantastic report on the snow (“It sucks!”), Michelle Clark’s sound-effect laden description of hail (which has already gone viral on its own), and the broadcaster who read out a birthday report for “Hugh Janus”, there are many very hilarious moments to enjoy.

There is a special Irish interest in the March video though, with poor TV3 newscaster Siobhan Bastible’s choking incident making the list. It seems at though Aengus MacGrianna is not the only Irish newscaster to be set for the YouTube Hall of Fame. 

It would never have happened to Anne Doyle.
