Former RTÉ Dancing With The Stars winner Jake Carter has revealed he is dating his dancing partner Karen Byrne. It has been revealed that Karen split from her boyfriend of eight years some time ago, and during the summer herself and Jake started to become close. Jake’s manager Conor ­Mulhall confirmed the news, telling the publication: “Jake and Karen became very good friends during their four months working together on Dancing With The Stars, and inevitably remained close friends following the show. “Karen split from her boyfriend some time ago and since then Jake and Karen have been out on a few dates together.” Meanwhile, an insider told The Irish Sun: “They both have very busy careers and Jake is often away touring so they have not had a chance to see much of each other over the summer, but are happy to just go with the flow. “Karen is still on good terms with her ex, Wojtek, and they continue to be good friends and run their very successful dance school business together.” The pair are said to be taking things slowly for now but are enjoying their time together.
