In the wake of all of the tweets and stories, Ulster camogie have now issued a statement about the incident - a statement that seems to have left a lot of Twitter users baffled. “Ulster Camogie would like to place on record its regret and disappointment with the recent adverse coverage surrounding the 2015 Ulster Poc Fada Competition,” the statement reads. “This coverage served to reflect unfairly on the strong and positive relationship between both Ulster Camogie and Ulster GAA and detracted significantly from the shared achievements of both organisations, including their joint approach to the Poc Fada competition."
