Brian O’Sullivan stood on the counter of Falvey’s Bar in Killorglin last Thursday and belted out Mr Brightside in tribute to his friend Ger Foley.
Ger passed away from complications owing from cystic fibrosis and Brian led the rousing rendition of the Killers song in an emotive performance.
The video went viral and after appearing on the Ray D’Arcy Show, Brian said he chose that song because Ger ‘Farmer’ Foley was “Mr Brightside to so many people”.
