A woman in Buenos Aires has shared shocking footage of her 94-year-old mother being abused by her carer in a bid to raise awareness of what happens behind closed doors.
Miriam Marino became suspicious of her mother's carer after receiving a tip-off from a neighbour, and set up a secret camera in her mother's home where she was being cared for.
She was beyond shocked by what the footage revealed, particularly as the woman in question had been caring for her mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, for over three years.
The horrific video shows the carer grabbing the elderly woman by the hair, smacking her, kicking her and taunting her.
Miriam has shared the footage on social media and has reportedly brought it to police.
