Darius Woldarski is a man with a broken heart.
Polish-born Darius now lives in Swindon, where he began a mammoth wait from noon on Wednesday until 8am on Friday for the new iPhone 6.
The 41-year-old had all his hopes pinned on getting the device for the wife of 20 years who left him one month ago. He spent 44 hours in line to claim his purchase, which he told SWNS TV was for his wife Joanna.
Speaking emotionally to reporters, Darius told how he hadn't been the best husband and father, but didn't realise it until Joanna said she was leaving him. He remembers how happy she was when he bought her her first iPhone, and although he doesn't expect the gift to bring her back, he said that it might remind her that one day he could be "good again".
