It's probably against royal protocol to hug a prince, but who cares when you're as cute as this?!
Prince Harry attended the WellChild Awards on Monday evening, meeting 4-year-old Carson Hartley and his family.
WellChild is a charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children, while their annual awards show recognises the courage of the children afflicted, along with their doctors, nurses, volunteers and families.
Cutie Carson is battling spina bifida, brittle bones and a heart defect. In some very sweet footage captured at the event, Harry is seen chatting with the young boy before offering his hand for a high five. Carson, however, wanted more and went in for a cuddle!
Speaking during the awards presentation, the prince addressed the children, saying: “Your stories are moving beyond words and remind us all of just how fantastic you all are.”
“We can learn a great deal from your strength of character, resolve and humor in facing down challenges every day.”
