A pro-life farmer has sparked outrage after he shared his extreme views about abortion on Tonight With Vincent Browne.
John O' Donnell took the microphone during The People's Debate on Repeal the 8th, and his shocking comments were met with gasps and boos from the audience.
He referred to Pro Choice advocates as upholding "Luciferian ideologies" and claimed that women know the risks involved when they knowingly engage in a sexual relationship with a man.
When Vincent asked him his views about abortion following rape, he said:
"It's a well known fact that giving birth reduces the trauma of the rape. Maternity instincts kick in, she has a baby to look after."
Browne did not engage the interview any further, but instead moved swiftly on.
