This video of a car and truck crash in Belgium is possibly one of the most horrific crashes we have ever seen.
The clip was recorded on the E40 motorway in Belgium and truly portrays the dangers of crossing lanes of a motorway at speed without taking into account what may lie ahead.
The video shows the driver of a blue Ford Focus attempting to cross two lanes to enter the far right hand lane to take an exit. However, due to being surrounded by HGVs, the Focus driver did not see that a traffic jam had formed in the exiting lane and his car careens into a massive truck that is stopped in the lane.
The impact then pushes his car back into the path of the motorway traffic, where it is smashed in to again.
The driver was critically injured but luckily came out of the crash alive.
