We're pretty sure this man flies the Mayo flag where no man has dared fly the Mayo flag before. On a surfboard, as a helicopter flies overhead to film it... no, that has definitely never happened before.
So to date we’ve had football fans post amazing photos from all over the globe, supporters witty musical ditties, but it has be said, this video pips the post.
Immediately after Sunday’s victory against Tyrone, this Mayo man, Fergal Smith took to the waters of Keel Beach in Achill with this surfboard and a Mayo flag in tow.
This is easily the most impressive display of support we’ve seen from any county to date. The ‘Mayo For Sam’ campaign is in the lead folks, but we have a feeling there’ll be plenty more where this came from… just maybe not to the lengths Fergal has gone to.
