Dog owners will avidly argue that they really are like little humans (but so much better).
Meet Sox - he's from Roscommon, loves John Legend's All of Me, and reckons he's got what it takes to win the X Factor.
His lucky owner Erin Lyons sent us this video of him, and explained how his love of the crooner came about.
She wrote:
"When this song first came out, one day Sox just stared howling during the chorus.
"We thought there was something wrong with him but after hearing it a few more times we learned that he just wanted to be a big singer like John.
"No matter whats going on in the house he'll always stop to blast out a few tunes when this song comes on."
