Rowden Go Pangcoga and Leizel May had decided on July 8 2014, Rowden’s 30th birthday, as the date for their wedding ceremony.
Heartbreakingly, Rowden was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer earlier this year and wanted to move the wedding day forward as he knew his days were numbered.
The families of both couples had only twelve hours to prepare for the wedding ceremony which took place in Rowden’s hospital room.
Just ten hours after the couple exchanged vows, Rowden died leaving behind Leizel and their two-year-old daughter Zakiah Rowzel.
The video of the couple’s wedding ceremony is difficult to watch and had us in floods of tears but it also shows the power of true love and how strong that bond is.
