"In these economic times the old fashioned methods of finding the right job are out the window, when all CV's look the same it is time to try something different."
Those are the words of Limerick woman Sharon Slater, who sent us on her novel approach to getting a job in recession-era Ireland.
In the two and a half minute video, uploaded to YouTube, Sharon promises to showcase “some, but not all of the abilities” she possesses, which she says “would be an asset to your company”.
Sharon describes herself as a people person with an “infectious” smile.
We’re still not convinced that video resumes are the way of the future, but there’s no doubting it takes a brave woman to upload such a video for scrutiny on YouTube, so kudos to Sharon for that!
