Dr Jim Withers has been helping homeless people for years but instead of seeing them at his office, he visits them on the streets.
14 years ago, he befriended a former homeless man named Mike Sallows who tries to help those without a place to call home.
Dr Withers asked if he could go along with him to which Mike replied there were a lot of medical requirements and Jim could accompany him.
Conditions applied including "Don't dress like a doctor and don't act like a jerk" and so Operation Safety Net was born.
The doctor estimates he has treated 1200 people a year on the streets of Pittsburgh since he started working with Mike in 1992.
An awe-inspiring video and we salute both Doctor Jim and his friend Mike.
