VIDEO: Woman Explains The Reasons Why “Fat People Are Awesome”

In today's society the word ‘fat’ has more negative connotations and than it does positive, and one person that disproves of this, is American woman, Amy Beaver.

Amy decided to make a video highlight all the reasons that she believe fat people are great. The video simply titled, “Fat People Are Awesome”, was posted onto her YouTube channel and has since received rather mixed reviews, judging by the comments under the video. 

Beaver makes references to when the word fat outweighs skinny, for example, “Who’s running around saying, ’I want a skinny paycheck’, No! I want a big fat paycheck.”

Amy also suggests that skinny people wrinkle easy, and rather than waste money on “lotions and potions”, all they really need to do is eat a sandwich.

Here are some of Amy’s reasons to celebrate being fat.

“Fat people are better to hug, because if you hug a skinny person it’s like hugging a Chihuahua, and we all know they’re really mean.”

“Fat people age well.”

And our personal favourite, “Santa Claus is fat and that makes him awesome, because if Santa Claus was skinny it would look like you would have a meth addict breaking into your house, instead of a jolly person bringing you presents.”
