When one of your friends posts a photograph of themselves holding the multi-million euro winning Lotto ticket with a crazy grin smacked across their face we probably would think that they were after winning some dosh.
American man Nolan Daniels posted a photograph of himself holding the $588 million ticket and updated his status to share his joy with his close friends.
Nolan also promised to give one lucky person $1 million dollars if they shared the seemingly legit photograph.
“Looks like I won't be going to work EVER!!!! Share this photo and I will give a random person 1 million dollars,” he said.

Daniel poses with his 'winning' ticket on Facebook
The post fooled more than 400,000 people who desperately shared the photo in order to get their hands on the fortune, however Nolan soon revealed that it was all a hoax.
Since the massive share-fest, a couple in Missouri have been identified as the actual winners of the phenomenal jackpot but we hope the success of his joke is enough to cheer Nolan up.
To be honest, we’d rather be rolling in the millions.
