This year marks a century since the historic 1916 Rising.
Ireland has become almost unrecognisable since then and the differences have been highlighted in a beautiful video compiled by ProDrone.ie.
The video includes shots of the Easter Rising interlaced with stunning drone footage of Dublin today. With backing music from Sinead O’Connor, it’s hard not to feel incredibly patriotic watching the footage.
The beginning of the clip directly compares the GPO and scenes from The Liffey in 1916 with modern day images.
