Christmas is a magical time of year for Irish people all over the world. Whether it’s getting time off work to spend with loved ones, celebrating a baby’s first festive season or welcoming someone home from faraway lands, the ingredients for a special Christmas are different for every family.
Earlier this month a group of shoppers in Tesco in Ballincollig, Co. Cork were asked what would make their Christmas special. Each of their stories were captured on hidden camera, and what followed will melt your little hearts.
For anyone out there who'll have a brother or sister spending this Christmas far from home, the last story in particular bring tears to your eyes. Can someone please pass us the tissues!
