When we first started watching this video, we weren’t sure what to expect. As a comedian, Amy Schumer can be a bit brash, and her humour isn’t everyone’s cup of tea… but then we were won over by her guest - 106 year old Downing.
While most interviewees on the
Inside Amy Schumer segment of her show are sex columnists and ex-police officers, Schumer was graced by this elderly lady and her witty impressions of modern life.
Downing tells Amy about living during the Great Depression, wearing pants for the first time and what her greatest fears were growing up.
It might take a few minutes to warm up to the interview, but we promise it's worth sticking this one out.
We pretty much want to hug Downing while watching this video on repeat.
