Some sneaky pics were released on Monday but now, a teasing trailer has hit the internet and given us a first proper look at George Clooney on Downton Abbey.
Just when we thought it wasn’t possible to love our favourite former ER doctor any more, the 53-year-old has knocked us off our feet looking extremely well in a nice grey suit.
“It’s Christmas at Downton and Lord Robert Crawley seems to be facing financial ruin once again,” reads the official synopsis of the episode. “He’s beginning to wonder if his family may be better off without him, but divine intervention in the form of a very special heavenly body gives him a view of what life would really be like without his guiding spirit.”
The special episode is being aired as part of ITV’s Text Santa charity campaign and will hit our screens on Friday, December 19th at 8pm. Can. Not. Wait.
