WATCH: Galway Bride Gets Big Surprise When She Cuts The Cake At Father Ted-Themed Wedding

Tiers of laughter. A Galway bride and Father Ted superfan got a big surprise when she cut through the tiers of her wedding cake recently. Darren Lavelle, from Ballyvary in Mayo and Carol Hynes from Craughwell in Galway were married in the Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry earlier this month, and it's safe to say Father Ted was a running theme on the day. Carol's sister, Imelda (aka Sister Imelda) told our JOE bros that there were Father Ted quotes decorating the tables and Mrs. Doyle was spotted serving cups of tea.   However, the highlight of the day came with the cutting of the cake. As Carol plunged the knife in, she was greeted by her very own cake jumper. The cake was made by a friend of the couple, Fiona Kelly.
