Say what now?!
An Irish chef made a bit of a blunder live on TV in America this week with hilarious results.
Shane Carty, who is originally from Dublin but has been living in Connecticut now for many years, was performing a cooking demonstration for St. Patrick’s Day when he let slip a uniquely Irish phrase.
Talking the hosts through the process of cooking an Irish whiskey cured salmon, he explained to viewers how you should “squeeze the b*llix” out of the fish in order to get the moisture out.
Needless to say, the hosts looked at him to see if he was still speaking English.
Check out 3:45 minutes into the video to see what happened.
