If you think running a marathon might be hard work, why not use the adrenaline of a proposal to keep up energy levels?
That’s what one runner did in this year’s London Marathon, popping the question to his girlfriend while her father caught the whole moment on camera.
Jordan Meikle was tackling the 26.2 mile run today when he stopped en route in Canary Wharf to stretch and see his girlfriend Kayleigh Harris who was cheering him on in the crowds.
While stretching out his legs, Jordan looks away from the camera while he roots around his bumbag on his waist.
Turning back around to face Kayleigh, he looks like he’s about to stretch out his legs when he bends down on one knee much to the crowd’s delight.
