We all know that after midnight mass, there may be a few drinks and a bit of fun around the house at Christmas.
Especially if you’re no longer living with your siblings, chances are once you’re all under the same roof, you’re prone to getting a little excited.
Cracking some jokes, riling each other… and playing with the turkey?
Claire Clohessy was home in Thurles on Christmas Eve, and as she says herself, that when the family of six who all live out of home make it back together, they like to make precious memories.
In her own words, this year was no exception:
“We are a typical Irish family of 6 who all live out of home so when we get all get together on Xmas eve we like to make precious memories however this year we took it to a whole new level. “The bird" as we called it got the absolute height of abuse...let's just say our mothers nerves are at her all day..lucky to have a bite of food on Christmas Day”
