WARNING: Video shows graphic content that some readers may find upsetting.
RSA and DOE have been responsible for some of the most hard-hitting road safety campaigns in recent times. However ‘David’s Story’, a road safety campaign from Norfolk Constabulary, evokes an entirely different kind of emotion in the viewer.
The campaign documents motorcycle enthusiast David’s final moments in a bid to make people think twice about their actions on the road.
In this truly emotional and heartbreaking clip, David’s mother tells the camera about her son and expressed how difficult the decision was to share his final footage.
Norfolk Constabulary uploaded the clip to YouTube with the caption: “Hard-hitting footage of a fatal collision in Norfolk has been released by police in a bid to get motorcyclists and drivers to think seriously about road safety.
“Viewers are warned that this video contains content which some may find distressing, but it does not show any graphic images of the rider during or after the collision and they are given the option to refrain from viewing.”
As we stated above, the clip makes for extremely hard viewing.
