Since it was announced that Aidan Gillen would be taking on the character of one of Ireland's most controversial politicians, we've been very excited about RTÉ's new three-part series Charlie.
Now, the trailer for the political drama has been released and it looks even better than we expected.
Charlie isbased on the career of Charlie Haughey and his bid for power in 1979, chronicling his attempts to maintain that power until his dramatic departure from politics in 1992.
The series will also see Gillen reunited with a number of other Love/Hate alumni, including Tom Vaughan Lawlor (PJ Mara), Peter O'Meara (Brian Lenihan) and Lawrence Kinlan (Tony Gregory).
Charlie will air on RTÉ One from Sunday 4 January.
