“FaceTime, good as it is, is no substitute for face-to-face”.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny has addressed the nation in a short Christmas message that touches on emigration and hopes for the future.
Kenny acknowledges that families will be without loved ones this Christmas for different reasons before touching on the subject of those who have left the country in order to find employment.
“FaceTime, good as it is, is no substitute for face-to-face”.
The Taoiseach continues by promising that efforts are being made to repair our country and “may that new light bring you prosperity”.
