WATCH: The Awkward Moment A Reporter Gets Caught PRETENDING To Use An iPAD

Sometimes people make bizarre decisions when they are under pressure.

Unfortunately the pressure and thus the embarrassment are magnifed by a bazillion when that moment happens on live television.

Poor oul Chris Mitchell, BBC sports presenter, suffered one such awkward moment this week.

His report ended and he found himself twiddling his thumbs, so he decided to let on he had an ipad to give himself something to do.

Maybe he thought it wouldn't be seen in shot, or maybe he just wasn't thinking at all.

Either way, it's TV Gold.
