We all remember Leaving Cert results day.
Whether it was a pacing of the kitchen, or a long drive to the school gate, looking at those grades brought on enough fear to last you a lifetime.
For one Tipperary girl Mary Theresa Glendon, the pressure was too much.
The 20-year old from Clonmel was so nervous approaching the big day, that she had her mammy open the envelope and slide the grades under her door.
Her reaction?
Priceless.
Big brother William caught the moment on camera, and proudly wrote:
“She’s off to London to study nursing - her dream course !! Also what are big brothers for if not to capture these moments? Hopefully she'll make loads of friends with this video!”
It probably won’t be her introduction on Fresher’s Week, but it’s a nice moment to have!
Hat tip to Liam Glendon for sending this our way!Have you something weird or wonderful you’d like to share with us? Tweet us @herdotie, send us a message on Facebook or drop us a line on hello@her.ie!
