The Simpsons has paid tribute to Oscar-winning, Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki.
The animated show shared a special video this week celebrating some of the director’s most famous work, in a clip where the Springfield ensemble, resemble Studio Ghibli characters.
We managed to spot references to Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbour Totoro, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke and Ponyo; have a look:
