The first water bill will not be landing on our doorsteps until the end of January according to new reports this morning.
It has been revealed that Irish Water will not issue their bills until the end of the month as the Commission for Energy Regulation have extended the application process for a month. People now have until the end of November to register.
The bills were originally due out at the beginning of January but the CER have now said it has accepted the proposal to extend this.
“This means Irish Water will issue first bills to households at the end of January 2015 and these bills will include household and children free allowances provided that people register with Irish Water by the end of November."
