“We Haven’t Fallen Out” – Simon Cowell Denies Rift With Cheryl

Simon Cowell has denied rumours that he and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini have fallen out. The TV mogul took to Twitter to say that the pair are actually getting along fine and that his fellow X Factor judge Cheryl is in fact a “great friend”.

He added that reports which say that they have fallen out are wrong and stated that the only reason he is mean to her is apparently because he likes her so much (rewind back to the schoolyard anyone?!) “If I like somebody then I can poke fun at them. That’s how I am with all my friends. So if I didn’t like Cheryl, I wouldn’t have fun with her,” he stated in an interview earlier this week. Meanwhile, the X Factor continues this Saturday night. Only five acts remain and they will be tackling 'jukebox week'.
