Met Éireann has issued a weather warning from midday to 6 pm on Wednesday 21 June, and for once it's got nothing to do with an alphabetical storm.

Temperatures on the east coast of the country could hit the thermometers at an insane (in this part of the world, anyway) 28 or 29 degrees Celsius.
For those of you who come out in a rash at the mere thought of such high temperatures, there is some good news - the weather is expected to break on Thursday.
